Why can't we have an ethnic Mediterranean Wonder Woman? I am tired of people casting her to look ANYTHING but Mediterranean. As of now, with the way she looks, all you need to do is put her in a blond wig and she could pass for Northern European.

Why can't she have a strong nose or almond shaped eyes? There are so few ethnic Mediterranean actors out there on television or in the movies. (Seems that if you look remotely from that region you only get to play Arabic and mostly in a negative portrayal.) It would be nice to see not only a positive portrayal but one that is also a superhero!

Anyway, I drew this as an example of how I would love a Mediterranean Wonder Woman to look like.

I totally agree with you, especially since all the people using "but she's Greek!" as an excuse for why there can't be a black Wonder Woman don't seem to realize that she's very... WASP-y looking. Which isn't necessarily a bad thing, but the current comic incarnation of Wonder Woman doesn't look Greek anymore than she looks like Gina Torres.

tl;dr - a Mediterranean Wonder Woman would be awesome.
