It was mostly convuluded chance and 'feelings' I hated- used to push the plot around. Like Dumbledore apparently being able to tell the future if his plan was to work at all because so much relied on chance. Like the de-luminator suddenly being able to apparate people- and Ron just 'knowing' that 'this was it'.

Harry just 'knowing' that the Doe was 'benign' (idiot) and following it LEAVING HERMIONE ALONE.

There are also a few others I believe.

And the elder wand thing was abolsutely amazingly stupid and didn't make much sense- so just knocking the wand, a different wand out of Draco's hand by force rather than in a proper duel was enough for the ender wand to pass to him?! I mean I knew the rules of ownership were supposed to be complicated, but that's remarkably stupid and means that anyone who in fact just knocks his own phoneix wand out of Harry's hand could thus own the elder wand- so no Harry, the wand is not safe unless you destroy it.

Plus of course, rather than make Harry grow as a hero, instead we have Voldemort become an idiot.

Granted it was more the morality of the series in the end which sucked more than anything else to me.
