Because when Talia's written right, she's amazing. She and Selina are probably the only two love interests I've ever really believed when it came to Bruce ('cept for DCAU verse and Diana ♥).

Meh... I am iffy on her because I see Talia as annoying and something of fridge fodder if she is written poorly. But if they made her a bit more wilder and manipulative and smarter, she could be better.

I never knew much about Talia, but I wasn't much of a fan (it always struck me as a little too B-movie-Mad-Scientist's-Beautiful-but-evil-daughter).

But then she raped Bruce. I mean, that's where Damien comes from, right? She drugged Bruce and sexed him up, right? That's date rape, even if it doesn't get treated as such, and that skeeves me the heck out.

I can't stand her either, or any of the Al Ghuls for that matter. They're like an entire family of boring, flaming Sues.

For fuck's sake, she kills like other women do their nails and she raped Bruce to get pregnant with his kids. What part of that sounds like a fitting girlfriend for Batman?

I don't think any aspect of her personality is redeemable -.-

TO be fair, Ra's kind of put her up to that.

In fact, in one of the recent storylines, he pretty much told her to go get herself impregnated by Tim, so...yeah, I think the Al Ghul family is slightly messed up when it comes to relationships in general.

As far as I'm concerned, she's never been a serious love interest, esp. not in comparison to Selina.

Talia is kinda bleh for me, because she's fairly predictable. This is just me speaking from TAS, as I can't really afford to take up a comic collection. XD
