But, um, I'm seconding the "get new friends" thing. Even if they ~don't agree with homosexuality~ for religious reasons, there are religious people who actually act like decent human beings and don't subscribe to that "not looking kindly [on 'X']" bullshit. If they just hate gays for the hell of it, that's even more of a reason to make distance, imo.

Good choice OP! I don't have any sexual feelings for her, but she is breathtakingly beautiful! My cousin used to always tell me that she liked J-Lo because she was pretty and she could dance well, and I was like "That's not a reason to like someone! Because they're pretty??? That's so shallow!" ...but now I totally get it. I watch Glee, and I always think "I'm supposed to hate this character...but she's gorgeous!! And her voice is awesome!

As far as your friends go...I wouldn't worry about it too much. Maybe I'm repressed, but I've never really seen the appeal of discussing my deepest sexual fantasies with my friends - and I'm not really sure I want to hear theirs either! Maybe it's actually hotter to you *because* you know your friends would disapprove. HOWEVER, if what you meant in your secret was that your friends are bigots who don't like gays in general, then YES, you should get new friends *immediately*, or as soon as possible. Meet new awesome friends when you go away to college and NEVER LOOK BACK!
