I LOVE Ke$ha. (She's my go-to 'pulling-an-all-nighter' music. xD) Interestingly, she's clearly NOT stupid: this NPR article (http://www.npr.org/templates/story/story.php?storyId=122610692) states she got nearly perfect SAT scores. I mean, OBVIOUSLY her stage persona is an act but...isn't that true of all artists? She's choosing to seem like a 'fuck-if-I-care'-party girl, and clearly it's working for her. Actually, a lot of the people I know who like her music are ALSO the high-SAT-score-nerd-type...I think she's cashing in on a lot of wish-fulfillment with her persona. xD

And I actually LIKE the sound of autotune. Her music is mindbogglingly catchy, and thus we need not apologize for liking it. YAY KE$HA.

let's not apologize for loving somebody who's pretending to be a no-talent drunken whore for attention, especially when there are female artists out there who are actually trying to make it on the merits of their abilities rather than being whores.
