This is kinda the point I've been trying to make. But I think I keep doing it wrong lol.
Snape, on the other hand, has seen thw whole thing in Harry's memories, yet he doesn't show any sympathy or understanding. He's completely indifferent to a child reliving the memories of his abuse right before his eyes and that's absolutely disgusting.
I'm just inclined to think that after all those years, Snape is just an emotionally stunted jerk and won't/can't feel sympathy cuz he went through something similar. IDK that's just my brain.
