Not the OP but isn't it possible that's WHY he hasn't been able to let it go? Be cause he feels the show never got the chance he and the fans think it deserved?

Also I think it's possible he's intentionally playing it up a bit because that's what he does in everything. Plus he knows how much the Firefly fans miss the show as well and he wants to keep the spirit alive.

After all, you can't stop the signal ;)

I don't know, I feel the same towards Pushing Daisies as I suspect most Firefly fans feel towards the show. To this day, I adore PD to bits and pieces and would give away a prized possession to see it brought back to life (pun intended) and I'm still disappointed about its cancellation.

However, if, say, Kristin Chenoweth had a leading role in a new show a few years from now that was doing fairly well and was critically acclaimed, yet she couldn't stop talking in every interview about how Pushing Daisies was the best show ever while never showing that same level of appreciation for the show she was actually employed in, I'd be bothered by that too (and I am a HUGE KC fan). If the show has been dead for YEARS and there's clearly little to no chance of it coming back, being SO hung up on it while being on another show that has put you back on the map and that guarantees you a steady job for at least a couple more years feels a bit disingenuous. *shrug*

I hear what you're saying... and since I haven't seen a lot of interviews with Nathan I probably can't judge whether or not he's shown the same level appreciation for Castle as he does for Firefly. However having seen the extras on the DVDs for Castle I really do think he loves working on it.

OMG I MISS PD SO MUCH.

That is pretty much all. I enjoy Firefly, but if I could bring back one of the two, there's no question which one I'd pick.
