I'm sorry you feel so alone, but as a yaoi fangirl, I would never convert to yuri if it gave me horrible grammar skills like that.

But hey, why bash on what other people like? You can't change their opinions. Sorry, girls don't do it for me. If you contribute rather than complain, I'm sure you could make your fandom bigger.

I'm a combination yaoi/yuri fangirl.

I'm sad for the yaoi to yuri ratio... but honestly there's not much you can do if yuri (or femmeslash in general) isn't a person's kink.

=/ I have honestly tried. I've tried watching Kannazuki no Miko and reading yuri fanfiction, but it just doesn't do it for me? I have a few yuri pairings I rather like, but I can't say I'm a fan of the genre as a whole.

I'm not sure it's even a "kink" thing. I despise reading het manga/fanfic even though I am straight. (Though if it's an consolation, I like yuri better than het.)

I'm sorry your fandom is so much smaller than yaoi's, but it's starting to piss me off with all the people whining about how big it is. I'm sorry that people like it better? O_o I honestly don't know what to say. It's not really anyone's fault, yet everyone treats it like it is.

Maybe "kink" was the wrong word, but I think you got my point.

I'm not whining about the yaoi fandom being bigger than the yuri fandom (I'm in the yaoi fandom as well, and, now that I think about it, I'm more into yaoi than yuri).

I was just trying to explain why there's really no reason to whine. At this point it's not gonna get any bigger, and there's no way it's gonna even come close to the yaoi fandom.
