re #1 - Basically, a soulbond is a mental embodiment of a character that speaks to you/other people (if you're open enough about it). They can be outsourced, which means they would be from a game or book or show - things like that - or insourced, a character you created. That is very basic, though. It's different for everyone.

People make a big deal out of it, but it's like an eccentric artist thing to me. I figured it was relatively common for creative people to be so inspired by certain characters that they'd have a piece of said character's essence, so to speak, developed within their mind. Think David Bowie ---> Ziggy Stardust, for example.
