Well they also said they didn't want it becoming "tainted" or something. How their childhood fandoms haven't been destroyed already is beyond me XD

Most of my childhood fandoms have been ruined in terrible ways already, but not this one. XD
The show had a somewhat limited run. It aired in quite a few countries, if I remember correctly, but it didn't run for very long. Not only that, but the fans were pretty much only in the places where it aired and hardly anywhere else. I have no idea what happened to the fans, really. The fact that so few people even remember it probably explains why no one's decided to destroy it yet. XD

No, I know where the OP is coming from, from experience. I tried to connect with other Candle Cove fans and it was the worst mistake of my life; I never heard anything about the series except complaints after that.

And don't even ask how badly the kink meme went.

Pretty much this. Sometimes it's better to stay away from the fandom.
In the show I'm talking about, the main characters were all brothers. I don't even want to know what the incest fangirls would do with it... :x
