I find the problem with cosplaying curly haired characters is that they're usually not curly in the way I am. They've got waves or ringlets or something. They're never like *massive poof of frizzy unmanageable hair*. It's actually easier for me to just flat iron my hair than to try to tame the curls into something resembling what curly hair 'should' look like. Any characters with my kind of hair would be a welcome relief. Right now all I can really do is Magenta from Rocky Horror.

Same here. Except I don't really want to cosplay Magenta again, (don't get me wrong, she's one of my fav characters from RH). I coloured my hair red for a cosplay night and went to school the next day like that, and since nobody in my class knew what RH was, they started to call me Mick Hucknall. It still haunts me, maybe that's why I straighten my hair every. F'in. Day.
