I didn't mean that about reflecting reality, I meant it about the trying really hard to be PC bit. If you put a lot of interracial couples (or anything outside of the norm) on TV you'll get a bunch of people complaining that they're not featuring enough 'normal'* people and focusing too much on minority groups; if you cut down the amount of time you devote to minority groups then you'll get complaints that you're disregarding them. It's hard to strike a decent balance, that's all.

*Normal is in quote marks to indicate that I don't consider minority groups to be abnormal in any way but that is the reaction of the mass public. Just in case someone was going to get on my ass about it.
