You say you're writing a novel, but don't mention if you have a publisher or people who are willing the publish it. Just because you write a novel doesn't mean a publisher is going to take it and publish it right on the spot. You only think it's going to be amazing because you write it and yeah, real authors don't run around saying "MY BOOK IS GOING TO DO SO WELL".
Chances are, if it does get published, people will read it, set it aside, and forget all about it. You don't have to worry about a fandom, you're going to have to worry about whether people actually pick up the fucking book. Because everyone and their mother writes books nowadays.
