Tumblr isn't a social site like LJ, it wasn't designed for that. That's why there's not chat, no real way to communicate unless you use reblogging & the ask box. It was never meant to be used for personal connection.

That's why I use it, and many others do. Because we don't want the personal connection, that's what LJ is here for.
