I have no idea, but I spent the first two episodes lambasting the plot on twitter (to the point where I got told to write my own mystery novel). I mean, c'mooon, the taxi thing was dead obvious. I mean, I recognised straight away that taxis were going to be important (there were too many of them filmed) and as soon as Sherlock did that monologue about people blending in in crowds and whatever, it just cemented it for me. The second was too muddled to get any info out of - the only 'clue' was the cypher, and, again, I knew automatically that it was some sorta Asian writing and probably numbers at that.

Still have to watch the third episode. And actually, uhhh, read the books. How is it that, out of all the literature from that time period I've read, Sherlock Holmes isn't one of them?

Ah well. I've decided to watch for the characters being awesome instead of the plot. As per usual, really.
