One of them even had a ridiculous name, making him easy to find. God forbid he actually be called Smith, requiring Sherlock to ask Seb for his address.

There's so much wrong with that episode beyond the Chinese smugglers.

It was a flawed episode in many ways, yeah. I pretty much only watch the "Sherlock and Watson walking around" bits of it. Didn't realize that one had different writers though. FS, always educational :P :D

Yeah, different writer and different director. Which, honestly, I think all of the problems with the episode boil down to those two points.
