Advice from another Japanese-American to OP

Please ignore this advice if you feel like you don't need it. But if you do feel like you need advice about what to do in your situation, and are feeling especially hurt and angry and vulnerable, I can let you know what helped for me when I was a teenager.

Don't associate with any weeaboos. Any at all. The vast majority of them are racist as hell and treat Asian-Americans like crap... they'll pretend they like you on the surface because of your connection to Japan, but they don't really think of you as a human being. What you're seeing in Hetalia fandom shows how much Hetalia fandom sucks but the bigger problem is these weeaboos in general.

Once I realized how horrible these people are, I started ignoring them, and I assumed that everyone who has an interest in Japanese culture is an asshole unless they prove otherwise (which isn't that hard). I might have missed meeting some nice people, but I saved myself a lot of hurt, and saved myself a lot of time as well.

You could just cut everyone off who has a Japanese username. Unless any of them are actually Japanese or nikkei, which is pretty rare.

Anyway, that's my advice, to take or leave. Wishing you all the best in this difficult time. Don't let those fuckers make it worse for you. You are strong and you have the power to make them stop hurting you.
