It wasn't story expansion. It blatantly contradicted canon from the original game =\

Also his voice acting was atrocious, and they completely ignored the fact that Hojo was probably around thirty at the time, not sixty-five. This is, of course, not even touching the present-day Weiss bullshit they slung onto him.

I am a Vincent player, and the last thing I ever try to do is make Hojo a sympathetic character, but good lord did they rape that previously pretty nifty character.

God yes. NO REDEEMING FEATURES WHATSOEVER. Everyone looked retarded, everyone acted retarded, everyone sounded retarded, and the gameplay mechanics were just... ugh.
