5. I get your point and agree, (real life should always be more important than fandom) but don't assume that everyone that wants to make a name for themselves in fandom doesn't also have goals in real life. People can use the internet and still have a life.

7. I do that, too! Sadly, I have yet to turn up anything, probably because my favorite crack pairings tend to be in obscure fandoms. (C'mon, someone else has to ship Lockstock/Bobby from Urinetown!)

I realize that. But the person I was talking about goes beyond wanting to make a name for herself. It's one thing to want to be known, another thing to start fights and hold grudges.
