Lol, what? People have been wanting M/F to happen since day one. There's no pushing for heteronormativity with them.

I was so confused when I first read this, until I realized you meant Mini/Franky by M/F, not Male/Female.

I'm one of those ones who's been clamoring for Mini/Franky since day one, but there have been quite a few people fandom who have been like, 'never gonna happen, don't want it to happen, there was already Naomi/Emily and that's enough lesbos' ... so, I'm with the OP.

I loved getting confirmation of Mini's girl!crush, and I hope Mini/Franky gets developed more next series.

There were a small minority of people who were all 'okay we've had enough lesbians,' but they were exactly that -- a SMALL minority. I think it was more of people wanting their LGBTQ-ness to be organic and not just there because 'lol lesbians.'

Personally, I don't want M/F to happen because I think Mini is WAY too good for Franky. If they're going to write Mini as a gay/bi girl, then that is fine by me; I've been wanting it since day one. But M/F would be a terrible pairing ... not to mention you'd get the inevitable Mini/Franky/Matty love triangle that everyone is all DNW about.

There were definitely a few "enough lesbians" people. Some of the "too many gay people" sort. I recall talking to a couple. But I think it was a minority of fandom.

Mini/Franky, in some ways I think are suited to each other. And in some ways not suited to each other at all.

Just shut up for once.

I don't know what it is, but the brunette is fine as hell. And it looks like s/he has braces, which for some reason I actually find kind of adorable. /unhelpful comment is v. unhelpful

It's Franky (brunette) and Mini (blonde) from Skins. Franky's played by Dakota Blue Richards (Lyra from The Golden Compass), if you're interested.

Honestly, YMMV when it comes to Franky; personally I don't think she's a good enough reason to watch the show (at least not S5).

I recommend watching the first episode then, that is Franky's episode.
If you think it looks appealing just go from there.

Skins, fourth season. Frankie is (probably, not stated) a gender queer pansexual who is just awesome and adorable.

I'm not very active in Skins fandom but I thought Mini/Franky was really popular. They are very pretty together.

I don't care if it's a gay or a hetero couple, as long as it's well-written and/or interesting.
I totally ship Mini/Franky because both are so well-suited to each other. I seriously hated Mini in the first episodes, but as soon as I found out how ready Franky was to forgive her, something just melted inside me. (Also, Franky totally brings out the best in Mini.) Mini's actually my second favorite character of the lot atm ♥

Uh, Minky has been popular since the first episode(I know I've been shipping it since then). And after the kiss, the fandom has been shitting themselves over this pairing.
