I have a love-hate relationship w/ this comm. Lately I've been really annoyed w/ it and it effected how I see gen3. I agree, people there are not that open-minded as they think they are. Any opposing opinion is unwelcome.
Main reason I dislike this gen is everyone of skinsfans just loves it.
And in other news, Liv's ep was the best. And Franky, you are a bit of a disappointment.

Heaven forbid anyone insult Gen 3. It's the most flawless, well-written, well-acted, etc, etc Gen of all of Skins. And if you don't agree you MUST be just a bitter stan of Gen 1 or 2.

I don't hate the comm or anyone in it but we do tend to have vastly different opinions. I love Liv and the only 'ships I have for gen 3 are non-canon femslash pairings (of which Mini/Franky is probably my least favorite, though I do like it.)

Also, gen 2 was/is my fav.

so much agreeance. the ammount of elitist opinions from a small few loud-mouthed fans is just rediculous. I stick around because the comm is pretty good at reporting news.... but i have to stop myself from looking at the comments these days.

Everyone over there is either defensive as fuck for no reason or just obnoxiously PA. I can't even deal with the stans, especially Minky, Alo and Liv's, and I LOVE all three.

I'm not a huge fan of SF tbqh but I'm personally curious what "new" things SF are so close-minded about, OP. You make it sound like SF is full of "Gen1 4EVER!" stans. It's the opposite but there are plenty of people who still express their love for G1/G2. There pretty in favor of new things especially G3 nd seemed pretty positive about USA version for a while. I've seen far more "I hate this new/boring gen" on tumblr.
