I don't think it's the best thing CLAMP's ever done--they've done a ton a lot of stuff and LD is fun and I want it to come back even though it'll probably never happen but I don't think it was significantly better than the things they abandoned it for unless you're only in CLAMP for the gay. LOL.

BUT SERIOUSLY FINISH WHAT YOU START CLAMP WHY ARE YOU MEANNNNNNN BAWWWW.

I agree so hard. While I wouldn't consider it their best, I'm really disappointed that it's discontinued (I mean, how many years has it been on 'hiatus' now?). Mostly because I bought the books when they first came out and I hate having incomplete series sit on my shelf.

It was good, it was fun seeing them jump more into the shounen ai genre that their group was built on so long ago. I understand that they had a lot of series running at the time and they decided to hiatus it right before convention season when they were coming overseas and whatnot but...lasdkjflasdkjflasdflsdjfsf. PICK IT BACK UP CLAMP.

I loved LD. I found it in about 2005, when there was still hope that it would be finished. The couple is more believable and sweeter to each other than other supposed-to-be-enemies pairings. I (at 15) was very touched that, even though Kazahaya started out being annoyed by everything Rikuo did, but Rikuo just helped out where he could and accepted the situation. This made them into very good friends, even if Kazahaya kept acting annoyed...

I'm not going anywhere with this, just reminiscing. Now I want to re-read the series.

clamp seems to lose interest in every series they make. I think they need to stick to shorter projects and complete them. Though probably what happens is it gets really popular, they go on much too long because it is popular, lose interest completely/start hating it, then put it on permanent hiatus or end it in the worst way possible.

Eh, LD is too fanservicey for me to consider it one of their best stories. It also feels like a xxxholic prototype of sorts (mystery spirit item thing let's collect if for a customer! iirc). But I still love it and wish they'd finish it up. Same with the other titles people above mentioned, Clover and X.

However, seeing how I was disappointed with how TRC and Holic turned out, I'm not too sure if I'd rather just read fanfiction instead. Welp.

Whoa, dude. Didn't think I'd see GD secrets here... Day has been made. As for the series finishing, I guess I'm not too upset seeing as I always found it and xxxHOLiC very similar and at least one got to finish, however lacklustre the conclusion process may have been.

I've heard that CLAMP didn't drop the project, it's that they can't get a magazine to publish Legal Drug, but they still want to finish it. I wouldn't be surprised, considering it's one of the most canonly out there gay of their works.

I'm still hopeful it'll get finished.

I haven't read any manga in years, but hell, I'd go back to this series if they started it up again. I read it during the phase wherein I would've shipped two rocks if they were sitting next to each other, so I definitely liked the yaoi, but beyond that there were so many mysteries started in the plot that it could take volumes and volumes to resolve. Gah, I miss it.

I'm a CLAMP fan, but only as of recently (since I rewatched CCS, actually XD), so I've never read LD. Lots of people have rec'd it to me once they hear I like CLAMP and I'm looking for something to read, but I don't want to read it.

Why? Because it's not completed and I'll probably be really frustrated once I finish what's available (and I don't believe CLAMP is going to pick it back up, either).

It's also the same reason I've never read the X manga, just watched the anime.

Really not the best Clamp ever did (unless you're talking about Shonen-ai, than yes). But I agree that I wished this to continue so freaking much!
