TB4 - ...how do you know that people on the other side aren't highly educated as well? And we shouldn't be judging arguements by the education levels of the people involved, but the quality of the arguements. University education is certainly helpful in learning how to formulate arguements, but it's hardly the only way. Attending a higher-rated university doesn't necessarily mean you'll get a better education than someone attending a lower-rated one either. Individual work ethic makes quite a bit of difference.

What the fuck does your fancy education have to do with your argument against Eva? I was honestly, completely, seriously waiting for a tie in that said "And this education in x subject has taught me that quality y and z are not commendable, quite the contrary, they are a detriment to the series as a whole," not "STFU and listen to me, gaiz, 'cause I got good grades and am smart!" because that is both total shit and not relevant.

tl;dr: If you want people to respect your opinion, you should work on your argument, not tell people your so-called qualifications.

lol at everyone taking this secret seriously. Sounds like a troll to me.

I don't think you should judge yourself on the best of published books, but on the worst. If you can make your idea's better than the most horrible books out there, than you still have a chance. Also, it might be good to remember that publishing is about money, so even books with wonderful plots, stories, and characters got rejected.

If TB2, 3, + 4 are all made by the same person who puts a massive wall of odd-fonted text over a picture... well, maybe you could have gone to omgwonderful school, but it doesn't look like you learned much about subtlety or graphic design. Or to read the rules before posting. Try again.

Please be a troll. If not, you just contradicted your own intelligence.

My cousin got into Oxford, but I think he's dumb as hell. Also, there are different kinds of intellect - just because someone excels academically in, say, physics for example, doesn't mean they excel in all areas of life.

It's also good to remember that one's opinion doesn't equal universal truth.

I don't know the fandom and I don't have a fancy degree. In this case, however, Wikipedia is more than enough:

That's why I quit going to sf_drama and ontd_political. I couldn't stand it anymore.
