I dunno, it's not like that makes me rage, but I do think those people might miss part of the unique experience of the current generation.

Personally, I'm relieved that there are no old Pokémon around. I could get some of my old favorites on my copy of Black easily enough because my mother owns a NDS that I could borrow for that, but I don't see any reason to do that.

This. One minor thing I didn't care for in the 4th gen was that there were previous gen pokemon everywhere O.o I mean I love all of the previous gen pokes don't get me wrong, but It's refreshing to see that in the 5th gen you don't have to sift through a million rattatas and zubats.
