But OP sounds like they're that nice person in class that isn't all judgey and genuinely thinks you're witty. Pointing that out is like scolding a puppy for being a puppy that sometimes sneezes on you.

It's more like scolding a puppy that pees on the rug; most people do try to break the dog of that habit.

It doesn't take a great effort to run a spell check, or read ones own work. OP doesn't have to care, but it's common courtesy not to make such obvious errors in written works.

Ha! See, I actually have a minimum number of errors I'm willing to accept. I'll let one or two slide, possibly more if the overall quality is good. Therefore, this case is acceptable, especially since the OP is saying they don't care about such errors. If the secret had been bitching about people's spelling and grammar mistakes and the OP also made mistakes in it, then it'd be totally fair game to nitpick every little thing, IMO.
