DUDE. Guys. The OP isn't judging you guys for having favorites. Hell, there are times in the games that I wish I had my trusty Garchomp. But I have made BFFs with my Krookodile and Samurott and Archeos and Sawsbuck and EELEKTROSS~ and Victini. :D

What the OP is judging, and I agree on, is the people who start the games and get to say, oh, the second gym and start asking those who finished the games for SQUIRTLE, CHARMANDER, EEVEE, HOUNDOUR, GIBLE, etc cause they "NEEEEEEEEEEEEED THEM TO GET TROUGH THE GAME OMG OR THEY WILL DIE DDDDD:" with out giving the new pokemon a chance and THAT IS MISSING THE POINT of the new games. :/

BLah blah play the games as you see fit blah blah, but still. Missing out like whoa.

Do it! There's a good reason that *FOUR* different gym leaders use the Lillipup family. The sprite animations for them are freaking adorable, too <3 First normal-type I've stuck with through the whole game.

I had a Lillipup (and then its evolutions) in my party for ages it was actually one of my strongest--kicked ass. I only shifted it out of the main party recently to make room for Deino.

And I had NEVER kept a pure normal in my party for more than two seconds before.
