Sorry? I know it would cost a lot of money, but it is possible. You could always move to another country to get the procedures done, which is also extremely expensive. But you shouldn't let finances get in the way of your dreams. My comment was meant to be encouraging, and when the comments didn't show up in my inbox, I ended up not being able to defend myself.

Uhm, what? I'd love for finances not to get in my way. Unfortunately that's not how the world works. Finances get in the way because when you don't have money you CANNOT do a lot things. You can't travel to another country if you don't have money and a passport. And what about leaving your family and everyone and everything you love behind? Sometimes it's not worth it. And sometimes it's simply impossible.

I know all that. I am leaving everything behind to go to another country, and selling everything I own to get the money. But a lack of finances shouldn't make you forget those dreams or dismiss them as impossible. One day you might find you have enough money, but it takes time and a lot of saving.

Why did my comment anger you so much? I never meant to offend anyone, and I don't mean to trivialize how difficult and expensive it is, I just said that it was possible.

It angered me because you made assumptions about someone elses situation. You don't know wether or not it's possible for them. I get that you didn't have bad intentions, but the comment came off as very trivilazing. For all we know OP has a medical condition that means they can't do it or something like that. Maybe it's really impossible for them. We don't know. I'm sorry if I seem mean or something, but I've just heard similar things directed at me all the time and it's so frustrating.

Oh, I'm sorry if I hit a berserk button for you. :( I made the comment in a hurry and it didn't properly express the sympathy I felt for the OP. Judging by the reactions I'm getting, it sounded quite the opposite. I understand that it's not as easy as my comment made it sound, and I'm sorry I didn't think more before I pressed enter.
