Do you know all of this, or just for the people who don't submit secrets anonymously? Because couldn't you have found the assassin wannabe anon, then? /not trying to be rude, genuinely curious about how far your seemingly infinite knowledge spreads...

Usually just the people who don't submit anon! Or when IP logging is on, I COULD track them all but I'm too lazy to bother, HAHAHA

I do know where the assassin wannabe anon lives, what internet service provider they use, the contact info for the service, and I'm pretty sure I know their username on LJ and stuff, but - they've stopped now! I think. Hopefully! From what I do know, I'm thinking it was just someone who'd worded their opinion a little too strongly without thinking of the possible legal issues with it (also, English probably not a first language).

How many people don't submit anon? Do deanoned people submit more than once, and can you tell what fandoms people like based on their secrets? Do you remember who said what? How does your inbox not implode from all this, and all the wank?

Well, I mean, I wouldn't have looked into it so deeply if they hadn't posted things that said they wanted to assassinate celebrities. Mostly I was looking for a service provider to contact to do something about it if they kept it up. ):

A bunch of people, actually! People probably do it to make sure their comments go through, since they're screened and LJ eats the anon ones sometimes. The FS inbox goes to a separate mailbox, I just get replies to the first thread every post - then check the actual post once in a while for epic wank and stuff (which is why I sometimes miss threads that need freezing and appreciate when people point them out to me). Usually I don't remember who said what unless it's something really interesting!

Oh, wow. Just knowing that you *can* do that is freaky. You're like, magic~ Or just really good with a computer. If IP logging is off, can you still find that information?

Are you the only person in charge of FS, and you just have a different mailbox to avoid imploding e-mail, or is it someone else?

...now I'm sure that I'll always submit anon, but even then I won't be safe... Although I might submit un-anon if it's not something too embarrassing/revealing/creepy...

To people submit de-anoned when they post secrets that are sure to cause wank?

Mostly it's just google and IP addresses, it's not really hard! And you COULD do it without them, but it'd be a lot harder.

Don't worry about me judging or anything, after all the other things seriously nothing is that bad or surprising any more, hahaha

Sometimes they do, sometimes they don't! Usually the signed-in ones aren't too wanky, but usually the secrets aren't too wanky in general (there are just the one or two every week that explode)

You must really have a lot of patience to do this without generally going insane, if you're the only one. Personally, I love the wanky secrets. It's like watching a soap opera, or a sit com.
