I wasn't aware that a lot of people really disliked her. Why is that? I'm neutral with her singing, so, just curious.

My own reason is that she was so obsessed with The Melancholy of Suzumiya Haruhi, that when the voice cast was announced and Wendee Lee got the title role, Vee pretty much said she would've been a far better choice than Lee. Even though Vee's resume is barely even a blip compared to Wendee Motherfuckin' Lee.

There's also the fact that she keeps uploading her fandubs even after she's been told by companies to take them down to copyright issues. As someone who claims to be a professional, you'd figure she'd be smart enough to stop.

She has a tendency to back out on con appearances as well, but that may be health related, so I try to remain neutral on that. Then again, you'd figure she'd just say no for now if she's still having ongoing issues.

To top it off, I just think she's an awful VA. She is the only English VA in the Blazblue series I can't stand at all, and I admittedly am very forgiving when it comes to English dubs. To me, her acting is just terrible. I didn't even know it was her in Blazblue until after the fact, so I can't even blame this on a bias against her.

Seconding this. I'm a fan of fandubs in general - geekyfandubs, YChangVAA, and that one chick who does all of the LittleKuriboh covers are some examples of really good amateurs. But I've never understood the hype about Vee. I guess she has a pretty good singing voice, but her tone doesn't appeal to me at all, and her personality just...rubs me the wrong way, I guess. She seems like one of those overly-cheerful people I knew in highschool who secretly hated my guts. But I may be projecting with that one.

Anyway, I agree that her voice acting is mediocre. She has nothing on Wendee Lee.
