Ugh.
Sure, I'm an anime fan, and our club is doing the exact same thing as yours, OP, but I'm donating through the club because I don't have any other method to. I can't do it online and physical places I can go to in my city (lol, city) are few and far in between.
There are real people in Japan, and this is a very real disaster. I honestly don't care about any delays/cancellations in my fandoms.
