Jack is one of those characters I feel had a LOT of potential on this show as a character and villain, but they blew it all off and made him an even bigger butt monkey to make room for all the newer, 'cooler' villains. The poor guy deserved more moments of bad-assery.

That said, the self harm thing is not a quality I need to see in Jack EVER, and I'm pretty sure his skin is just freakishly albino like that. I...have nothing to say about his preferences in bed, but I can see him in both positions, lol

GOD, THIS.

In Season One, Jack, though possessing a few moments of incompetence and cowardly behavior, was largely a serious foe who could handle his own against the main characters. In short, he had dignity. Then Season 2 came and they turned him into a simpering, whiny, and cowardly kid. I love the first season and I can not stand either Season 2 (at least by the second half when it annoyingly became the Omi and Chase Hour) or Season 3.

Yeah, I miss Season One Jack. :(

Ahh, the days of my Xiaolin Showdown obsession... I did all those things you dislike. But I was like, 13, and that's how I did everything. As for everyone else, well, I can't speak for them.

But yeah, first-season-Jack. Awesome. That's the characterization I remember now, and it's the most fun for sure. I still draw him and come up with stuff for him even though it's been years since I watched it.

I always thought Jack was a bit goofy but was still evil and competant/badass. That was what I liked about him. You don't get many bad guys who pull that off.

If only I drew/wrote Xiaolin Showdown I could help you out. :/

Yay! A Xiaolin Showdown secret! About Jack!

Anyway, the way I see it, Jack's characterization is a delicate balance between strength and weakness, if it is weakness. He's a self-proclaimed and actual genius, yet he sometimes does dumb or ridiculous stuff. He's egoistical and selfish, but idolizes Chase Young (and a few other characters) as much or more as he loves himself, and gave Chase Young a Shen Gong Wu just because of Chase's awesomeness. You know... he could rock the world or bite the dust, but with his intelligence and creativity, the former option is more likely. He's got depth and he can't just be had one way.

Also, I consider cutting to be what he's least likely to do, out of the options you listed. He's definitely albino, I think, and Jack plausibly could bottom during sex with Chase. Wuya worshipping? I dunno about that.

Also, I do consider Jack having some sorta angst to be plausible. 'Cause well, it's hard to explain, but it just fits, and if written/drawn correctly, can feed into why he's such an awesome, complex character.
