It's hilarious how they're trying to score "victim points" on something that happened 2000 years ago, to people who neither by blood, nor by culture, nor by beliefs (in any useful sense of the word - any version of Christianity existent today is as far away from what they preached as, say, Islam is) have anything in common with them.

On a less facetious note, it's actually part of the religious consciousness of a lot of Christian beliefs, so technically, yes.

On a more (very much more) facetious note, that's why I have no sympathy for any belief systems. They will inevitably gain political legitimacy and oppress their oppressors.

Well, it's a legitimate comeback to the 'I don't care how nice Christians are now, because in the past Christians have done and believed bad things' stuff that's further up this thread: if you go back, everyone comes from a long line of victims and oppressors.
