Actually I think it's what the anon said. Most of religious people I know keep their faith for themselves and their church.

I don't mean that I shout about it in every single comment, but neither am I ashamed of my faith or just a 'Sunday Christian' who lives the rest of the week like they don't even believe in God. If someone posts about say, a family tragedy, I'm going to say that I'll pray because I will. No one gets offended.

Then it's a cultural thing perhaps. Here if anyone younger than 60 said "I'll be praying for you" they'd be looked at as a little odd. We use phrase "I'll be thinking about you".

Probably - saying stuff like 'you and your family are in my prayers' in a case of bereavement, for example, is quite normal here.
