6. FUCKING RIGHT. Half of the movie was the two of them going, "LOL MY TELESCOPE PENIS IS BIGGER." "NO, DEFINITELY MINE." They're totes my PotC OTP.

10. I didn't get around to saying it the first time that secret was posted, but: YES YES YES. First, Geoffrey Rush is pure awesome and Barbossa is hands down my favorite PotC character. Second, hot older men in general ftw.

12. The Bleach myus own me so hard. I adore the entire cast so much, I would've been sad if they ever re-cast like they did with the Tenimyus. (Is No Clouds really gonna be the last one? NOOOOOO. D:)

13. Even though I like the pairing, I have to admit that most Lighto/L stuff is ridiculously OOC. Light's not sensitive or romantic, he's a sociopathic narcissistic dick. L is actually a very intelligent detective, not just a quirky uke who sits funny and eats pastries. Which is why I like Matt/Mello way better. It's got snark, violence, and cute.

13. Actually, I too ship Light and L. In fact, I ship them so hard I'm in serious danger of straining something. But like you say--this only makes the OH GOD MAKE IT STOP-ness of 99 percent of everything written or drawn for them that much worse for me. XD

Look up "Ivy" and "Sonata of Temptation" on YouTube. XD Yeah, it is, and it's (almost!) a carbon copy of the AC scene. Much of fandom hates it and considers it an evil ripoff, but I think it's pretty cool.

Geoffrey Rush is made of sex. No one can watch "Quills" and even try to debate this point with me. Yes Depp is a very handsome man....but even if they randomly made me pick (hello total fantasy) I'd instantly< pick Rush, no doubt in my mind.

I read once that many people in the PotC fandom believe Geoffrey Rush to be unslashable which is just a BUCKET of wtfffff because between Quills and The Tailor of Panama (but that was another movie that was very everyone/everyone. Still: "HAY, LETS GO INTO A GAY BAR TO ARGUE. FOR NO OTHER REASON THAN THE FACT THAT IT'S, LOL, A GAY BAR."- that movie had the unfortunate side effect of making me want to slash Pierce Brosnan as well), you've got no argument against but mostly Quills! Also, the man played JAVERT, who's entire character arc is basically: "Oh, whoops, I have an obsessive man crush on this one criminal with nice muscles ♥ PSUEDOCIDE TIME. Oh wait, drowning makes me dead for realz."

The general consensus seems to be that he's not "hot", but man: my first clear memory of noticing Geoffrey Rush as an actor was noting his fantastic, handsome face. Back in eighth grade, my friends and I had this whole dissatisfaction about how unattractive many of the men playing Javert on Broadway were. Upon watching the 1998 Rush/Neeson Les Miserables, I proclaimed: "JAVERT IS FINALLY HOT" and there were general "AYES!" about the room.

I mean, if a bunch of thirteen and fourteen year old girls can see it...

4. Lol. Well, some people like to roleplay pairings and romance, and I'm one of them. But even I'll agree that that's not the only way to do things. I don't have a lot of taste in roleplays, though. I only really do humor and romance (I guess sex is sometimes entailed, but honestly too much roleplaying sex is...ridiculous). I'm trying to say I agree with you, but some people don't have the same tastes.

...somehow it's coming out really stupid.

9. I think I'd do the play part better than the costume part, personally. Some of us can't sew worth shit. Still, if you can't do it but want to, you could always try to gain the courage. Do it in front of a few friends?

13. While I agree with this completely (Oh lord do I agree with it completely) it seems people usually let fanart slide for some odd reason. I only cringe sometimes when I see OOC fanart. I guess it's because I try to tell myself 'there must be some reasonable excuse behind this'. Usually I have a small story in my head when I do fanart, so it makes sense to me. But...yeah. I guess there's no good excuse for OOC fanart.

Yet most people are probably still gonna ignore it more than OOC fanfic.

15. I like Gambit okay, but even I'll agree he's a sucky X-Men. His powers bore the hell out of me and I don't see how they'd be significantly helpful compared to the others.

4. A-men. RP is not all about the sexxin' and I'm tired of people who think I'm a lesser RPer because I won't RP the sexxin'. Pardon me if I don't want to inflict sub-par RPing on everyone else (because my smut is sub-par,) or would rather *gasp!shock* RP something more plotty. I don't look down my nose at people who RP sex, please to be extending me the same courtesy.

That series was pretty good. I liked the blonde (and remember, this is from a young girl's perspective) because 'oh, he likes comic books and having fun too!' and the girl because she was really kickass and smart. Does anyone remember their names?

I love the concept for gambit. I think it's neat. I don't think I've ever read any comics where he's written the way I think he should be, or drawn in a way that appeals to me though(Pinck chestplate? Lol 90s). So I can understand why you wouldn't like him. (I really want to make my own gambit comic and do it right though, HURR xB)

15. His design doesn't bother me... As 90's and never-changing as it is, it's pretty nifty... But what gets me is people ONLY talking about him and avoiding any MARVEL topic that doesn't include him. For example, at my Birthday, I had it set up so my friends and I could play Marvel Ultimate Alliance. Two of my friends REFUSED to play just because Gambit wasn't in it... and you can't talk about any other comic series with some people without them asking if Gambit's in it-- and if he isn't, they just don't feel like talking about it. THAT is why I hate Gambit.

7. I felt quite the opposite, actually. I found Ivy's performance rather lifeless and really fake... I was disapointed to see one of my favourite scenes translated so poorly... but I'm probably just upset over the poor ass job on the costumes.
