Briefly, I didn't see the entire movie. :P I'm not sure if I could sit through all of it- I appreciated the script and what it was trying to do, but what I saw seemed poorly executed.

WHY, DID I MISS OUT ON SOMETHING AWESOME?

When it comes to comics and movies you really can't compare them to each other - you'll just end up slaughtering the movie. In the end it's just best to look at them separately. :) But yah... as much as I did enjoy the movie, I'm always rereading That Yellow Bastard like no tomorrow~. ♥

PROFESSIONAL HIT MAN IN A TRENCH COAT. 'NOUGH SAID.

I think I just feel personally betrayed by Frank Miller these days and reading comics by him gives me a sick feeling in the pit of my stomach. I have a hard time reading even DKR anymore because I just can't get the fucking climax of DKSA out of my head. I wish I could have scrubbed that comic out of my brain.

And as lovely and brilliant and awesome as Sin City is, reading it still makes me feel a little ill. Watching the movie doesn't.

ONE DAY I'LL GET OVER IT. Because 'Hell and Back' was my favorite installment after 'That Yellow Bastard' and I'd like to read it again before Sin City II comes out.

PS: DR. TRAN!!!!!!!!1

I actually have been meaning to read DKR in it's entirety but when it comes to Batman, even though I do respect Miller, the comics by Loeb and Sale are at the top of my list. The style and story lines have always been my favorite.

Same here - I just need to gather up enough money to buy it myself.

PS: BUT I'M NOT A DOCTOR! D:
