That happens to me ALL the time. I basically always dislike (or at least don't prefer) the characters that share my same annoying characteristics. >____> It's why I can never be a Samgirl. But being a feminist isn't bad! I suppose being obnoxious about it is, but hey, someone's gotta say something. "WELCOME TO THE MACHINE!!"

I don't relate to Britta but it's pretty cool that so many people identify themselves in her, whether they like or dislike her. She's got to be one of the most relatable characters on TV.

I'm neutral with her character, but I always see so many people saying they "relate" to her in the fandom way more than I have with any other characters from TV.

That happens to me to. In real life more, though. I can't get along with some people who have the same characteristics of me.

But back to Britta, I don't think I'm like her at all and I'm not her biggest fan. I still like her, however there are times I think she's rather unnecessarily mean to Shirley. But that's changed in the last few episodes and I ADORE their relationship.

Yeah. A lot of Britta's more negative qualities really hit home for me sometimes, but I appreciate the fact that she keeps trying and that she does mean well. She is making an effort to change when she figures out something is wrong. She cares if she's selfish, which is way more than some people. So yeah. Britta hate is a little harsh and it's okay if you emphasize with her. I think she's one of the most well-rounded characters on Community.

Britta's awesome. I relate to her a lot too. it's not a bad thing to take shit seriously sometimes, though I guess not ALL the time. But remember Community's a comedy! I think in a drama a character like her would be treated somewhat differently.
