I've only read Demon's Lexicon and am now reading the sequel. I guess the premise is similar? Is Nightlife better?

The sequel is so good! The Demon's Covenant is my favorite of series thus far. I can't wait for The Demon's Surrender to come out.

I'm not very far into Demon's Covenant yet, but it seems like it'll be really good. I just hope I like Mae better in this one because she kind of got on my nerves in the first one. I love everyone else, though.

I think it's a lot like Nick, personally. If the book had been from anyone else'es view point everyone would have hated him. You need to be in Mae's head to really get a feel for her. That said I rather liked Mae. She and Alan are my favorites. But I think (or at least hope) you'll like her more once you read a whole book from her perspective.
