I know how you feel. He's not disabled or anything, but I do know someone in real life who is so much like me but just an objectively better person. He's nicer, more generous, gives more people the benefit of the doubt, and just in general is happier than I feel like I could ever be. He's still one of my best friends, but I resent him a little, tiny bit for it.

Don't feel guilty, just don't let it influence how you treat her. Realize that it's your failing but she probly wouldn't blame you for it.
