He was a dick, and I thought some of the choices he made were frankly idiotic. Yes, his development was good, but that whole storyline had me frothing at the mouth at the stupidity of everybody involved, and he was at the top of the list.
I'm not the biggest fan of Simon, either, so it's not about him trying to kill Simon (Viral's my fav), but Rossiu annoyed me so much. I really wouldn't have minded if he had died >_>
Also I don't think he showed nearly enough remorse.

While it was going on, I don't think we saw him struggling enough.
And after attempting suicide and being rescued - then what? It doesn't magically erase what he did.
