I don't even count... that person... as Watanuki. Everything that happened after Yuuko died completely went against all of his character development up until that chapter. I don't even count it as canon-- just CLAMP trollin' us.

I'm glad I stopped buying the volumes after Yuuko died. I would've happily paid for them (I loved the series) if they would've still had Watanuki & Doumeki, not those other boring guys masquerading as them.

I'm here to give you my obligatory rant that it is physically and figuratively impossible for Watanuki to be Clow Reed, and that anyone who believes in the idea needs to reread every series involving the two characters (preferably twice over).

After that last scene, he probably won't...but since he ditched his whole life for her for some reason, the damage has been done. I only hope the Doumeki family doesn't wind up having to look after him forever. :\
