Eh, you don't have to ship all pairings under the sun in order to not hate a pairing. You can just try not to hate it or something. Make yourself realize that being obsessive and hating on a ship is silly and takes up time and energy that you could turn towards finding and enjoying what you do like.

I wouldn't say that exactly. I don't mind the people who simply don't like the pairing (that's a matter of preference), but the ones who actively and deliberately start wank over it are welcome to GTFO anytime, and the sooner the better. And that goes for anyone who deliberately starts wank over any pairing, not just USUK.

Er, you're free to dislike the pairing, but you... grow to dislike it more because it gets a lot of hate? Isn't that kind of... odd?

I have third-grade level grammar, sorry.

Anyway, I meant that whenever I see people complaining about USUK haters, I hate it more, just because I get mad at them and feel like they're ripping directly on me. They certainly aren't and they're only stating the truth, but like I said before, I take shipping too seriously, and seeing fans who are smarter than me state how people like me ruin the fandom gets me all pissy.

I know this secret is stupid, and I regret submitting it.

Basic summary:

The OP is a USUK hater. She doesn't want to hate the pairing or be a rabid hater, but every time someone mentions rabid USUK haters, she hates the pairing more, because she knows she IS a rabid USUK hater, whine whine kinda makes no sense whine~~
