I haven't seen all of them, but I wouldn't blame people for skipping Devdas. It's very pretty and stupendously depressing. If I want to watch a depressing SRK movie, I'll watch Kal Ho Na Ho, thank you very much.

I'd have to disagree with you there. I thought Devdas was gorgeous and the storyline (while pretty sad) was interesting. KHNH just bored me--I watched it for the actors, but I really enjoyed Devdas when I'd hardly seen any bollywood. Each to his own, I guess.

It certainly is pretty. That costume Aish wears when she visits Madhuri at the brothel is particularly jaw-dropping. I've actually played that scene over a few times just to look at the clothes. :)

I agree with you. "Devdas" was really boring and I thought poorly executed. I did enjoy the visuals and a lot of the songs though.
