It's like you're a psychic who listens in on phone conversations that I have with my fandom friends. We pitched that identical scenario when we found out they had history together.

(Also, if Matt Bomer is below a 2 on the Kinsey Scale, then I just don't understand life anymore.)

(And...seriously. I am genuinely surprised at the comments of people saying "HE MIGHT BE STRAIGHT, YOU KNOW!!" I barely know him--I don't even watch White Collar--and it still seems to be extremely obvs. I wish he'd come out--not because he 'owes' it to fans or something, but just because people seriously need to get that an celeb can be attractive, masculine, successful and [gasp] also gay. And because he should be able to talk freely about his family if he wants to; I know few daddies who don't like bragging about their kids in particular ;))

At some point it becomes an issue of privacy, though. I don't think he's hiding it - he just has the same approach as Anderson Cooper, O He of the Ambiguous Sexuality. Cooper grew up with a famous parent and has decided that he does not want exposure outside of his professional life, so the public never hears about lovers (of any sex). Maybe Bomer's just private.

I'm a seasoned RPF fan, though, so none of that changes the fact that Lee Pace was an off-balance sophomore in the high school drama class when Matt Bomer was the senior who got all the best parts in the musicals.

Give me a break: Bomer's just closeted -- if he had a wife, she'd be front and center.

Let's be fair here: there's a difference between "closeted" and "not telling People magazine and Entertainment Tonight his business." The people who actually matter in his personal life probably know, it's just that we don't because it's not our business. AFAIK, he's never outright lied/said "no, I'm not gay"/"I'm with a woman," etc.

Once again, if he had a wife, he'd make it our business to know; they ALL make it our business to know. A glass closet still has a door.

An actor doesn't have to make their personal lives public. Fans who begrudge them their privacy confuse me.

And people who think straight actors, while valuing their privacy, don't let everyone know that they're straight really confuse me.

Lol I'm the phone friend. We legit spent like 2 hours discussing how they totally banged in high school and then Matt went to college with Zachary Quinto and banged him too.

This is actual canon to me. I believe it happened.
