Write it anyway. The fics I consider my best works are my shameful self-inserts which I never post. It doesn't matter if anyone disses you for liking it, or if nobody reads it (I'm sure somebody out there will, especially if you're a good author, and most people won't mind if it's for an obscure/silly/childish fandom if it's very well written). There's fun and satisfaction in just getting thoughts onto the page.

Hey, don't be afraid at all.

Did you know that Nickelodeon is making a new dubbed version of it? I can't wait, and I'm 26 (well almost 26). It's a great show, and doesn't get enough recognition. Seriously! Write fic!!! There needs to be more! ^_^

Oh, and go to this site, they have a lot of information on the new dub, so far Keke Palmer and Molly Quinn have been cast (Keke as the voice of Layla, the Fairy of Tides and Shapes, and Molly Quinn as Bloom!)

If there is ANYTHING at all that being in a fandom has proven, it's that you're never too old for a show. Besides, season 4 was pretty dark in a lot respects.
