Um, Colin Farrell was Bullseye, but I agree. I've only seen the best parts of the Rifftrax, but it seems to be a decent movie, in a goofball-ish way. Then again, I don't hate Ben Affleck (but I don't love him either), which evidently makes me a horrible person.

Hooray for other Daredevil fans. And a big second on the Directors Cut. I love all of the courtroom hijinks and Matt being a badass even out of costume.

Yeah, it's definitely one of my favorite Marvel movies. Waaay better than any of the X-Men adaptations, that's for damn sure.

I think I would have liked the X-Men movies so much more if there hadn't been such an emphasis on Rogue or Jean because, frankly, I never liked their characters. And then Storm got no romance interest, while all the other girls did. Bullshit. Plus Wolverine's story was blown way out of proportion. That could have been used to explore the other characters.

Yes it is. It's on the same level as Elektra, Tomb Raider (both of them), Ultraviolet, Matrix Revolutions, and Gigli.

I liked the movie just fine. It's not as epically awesome as say, Iron Man, but I still like to watch it from time to time. The choreographed fight scene between Matt and Elektra is hilariously bad, but in a 'I can't not laugh' way and not a cringey way. I think most of the actors did a fucking good job, and I was really won over by whatshisface as Kingpin.

I always really liked it. Just the concept, the characters and the way it was filmed was very involving. *shrug*

I haven't seen the Director's Cut, though I hear from everyone it's even better. Additionally, I still need to read the original comic too.

I think the director's cut is a great comic book movie (I don't understand how the theatrical cut works, because from what I saw on the special features of the DC, they cut out the plot, but I haven't seen it so idk), one of the best. I love it, I started reading Daredevil because of it and I still think it has far, far superior characterisation than most of the comics.

The Matt/Foggy relationship was so wonderfully done and Matt was more filled out as a human being than he ever was in the Bronze Age comics.

As much as I like (not love) the DD movie (MCD is my favorite part of them, btw), it now leaves a bitter taste in my mouth after Ben dissed the movie and said working in costume is a source of "humiliation" for him... despite, mask or not, you're in costume anyway when you're acting in a movie.

I attribute the negativity entirely on Ben Affleck's inability to act (nothing against him and he does pretty well under direction of Kevin Smith or with Matt Damon when he can relax, I guess) and the decision to introduce and then kill off Elektra.

Also because it gave us that sequel that should just DIAF.

Could be my teenage crush on Jennifer Garner talking and my budding realisation that women were hot, but Daredevil is still one of my favourite movies, and it's one of the earlier films that got me into Marvel comics.

And I am now aware that Google Chrome's spellchecker doesn't think "movies" or "Google" are words. The hell.

20. OH GOD I KNOW I'M SUPER LATE BUT I JUST HAVE TO COMMENT & SAY I LOVE YOU. I'm always defending this movie & everyone makes fun of me, but I'm standing by it. (But hee, I think you mean Farrell.) Ben and Jen obviously had great chemistry, and while she was definitely too all-American and kinda white bread to be Elektra, in a way it worked because it reflected her sweet, more innocent side that we saw in the comics when she was in college, before her father died. And Foggy was awesome. And Joey Pants is always awesome. SO, HATERS TO THE LEFT~
