True. But Klaus should get the credit for starting it. POTC2 and 3 soundtracks were just remixes and redoings of Badelt's original score.

I once saw a marching band do this at a competition. The colorguard had a chair fight. It was the coolest thing I've ever seen. /csb

I have "He's a pirate" on my iPod and I regret nothing. PotC has the best soundtrack.

Honestly, I don't understand (personally) how people find the PoTC soundtrack enthralling or exciting. I find it kind of boring and unimaginative (but hey, different strokes and all that jazz)

I was 30 when the first POTC came out, so I'd been listening to movie soundtracks for a long time at that point, and Klaus Badelt's score didn't sound like the others I'd gotten used to. Plus, it just FIT the actions so well ... I know that it's been 8 years since that first movie came out, so we're all used to the music by now, but there was a time it was honestly new and interesting - and I remember it. *G*

Well, seeing as you aren't much older than I am actually, I can still truthfully say I still find it boring, lol. Not dissing your tastes or anything I just don't find soundtracks all that entertaining. Most of the musical stuff I like has lyrics and classical is the only stuff I like without.

I just don't find it works without the movies(And frankly even IN the movies I usually don't find it works).

I'm extremely judgement on my own musical tastes. *shrug*

Age isn't really that big a deal with me (Or at least I TRY not to make it a big deal) since I've known plenty of kind, brilliant kids, and really annoying, ignorant older people (This isn't what I'm saying you are! T_T )

But yes, different strokes ^.^
