I love soundtracks. I love them because I can imagine the story and scene behind them as I listen. I love them because of the full orchestrated beauty that's not in modern, mainstream music. I love them because I can listen to them while I write essays and not worry about typing out any of the lyrics instead. I love them because they can bring out mixtures of emotions in me that words simply can't.

And just because why not, have one of my favorites.

Thanks, and I do like that one too; it's one of the ones that I don't even have to click on to know what it sounds like. Back when they still lived near me, my brother-in-law would make mixed movie soundtrack CDs and both my sister and I would usually be able to guess exactly what movie and what track it was within the first ten seconds... except the Dark Knight soundtrack. I always get the Dark Knight soundtrack mixed up.

Anyways, if you're interested I made an additional favorite soundtrack songs post over at the favorite soundtrack song thread (http://community.livejournal.com/fandomsecrets/664370.html?thread=424727090#t424727090). I just ended up picking a couple off my iTunes Top 25 Most Played List since my mp3 collection is pretty much 99% soundtrack material. xD

Oh man, that's why I even have a playlist for lyricless music in general. For all those times when I need to do something which lyrics would most likely distract me from.
