well, I have never seen a case of mpreg in fandom where it wasn't a "regular" male, so although you have a good point here re: rl, it's not something I think is necessarily applicable in fandom. I may be wrong, I suppose (I don't like mpreg fic/art, so I don't go looking for it), but I've never seen a case where it was actually a trans character.

First; Instead of using "regular" male, Cis-man/male is a much better term.

As for Mpreg, I'll admit I don't read a lot of it. But I do remember reading one where a trans character was raped and had a pregnancy scare. So, they do happen. Anyway; my point was mainly the fact that OP heavily implied that it could never be done realistically and I just don't think that's true. It may be rare, but it does happen.

Mpreg in fandom is pretty much universally a male body that gets pregnant through magical/scientific means. Think Junior with Arnold. I have never read a mpreg fic with a transgendered character, ever, and I've been reading fanfics for almost fifteen years now.
