technically Mercury was bisexual, but that's beside the point... It puzzles me how people can not know he was gay. In the seventies too, there was a whole debate about his sexuality, because he wasn't officially "out" for a long time. I mean, just look at him! Not saying gay people are all effeminate or anything, but come on. Freddie Mercury, people?

otherwise, agreed, but hey. It's Youtube comments, so it's going to be full of shit, 99% of it, unfortunately.

I feel like the fact that he was also attracted to women gets skimmed over because it's more of an attention-grabber just to say that he was gay. :/ And also because there are so many people who are convinced that bisexuals don't actually exist. *facepalm*

There's also the fact that he was a pretty private person, so a lot of people probably only know what they've heard in rumors. And rumors about someone being gay spread a lot faster than rumors about a man and a woman sleeping together.

agreed! It doesn't really bothers me but it's quite true yeah, that people seem to overlook that he liked women as well, for some reason. Maybe because he's seen as a myth, the ultimate gay man, or something.

And the whole bisexuals-don't-exist always makes me go... eh? You daft or what? O_o
