It's okay, anon, we can trade. ^^ I'm into B/W now, but once I finish it I'm totally gonna play through Ruby (which shoould arrive next week), and then get back to Pearl and SoulSilver. So, here's at least one person left! :D

As I got into Pokemon through Diamond I would be quite happy to re-squee over that, even though I can't reset the game because I've played it to hell and back and I've caught all the legendaries I can and traded for some others... ooh that little Shaymin is sooooo cute!

Black is fun but it can't replace my first love.

From what I've seen on the Serebii forums and Pokémon comms on LJ, loads of people still play Gen 4 =D So I wouldn't worry. I'm still playing Gen 4 alongside Gen 5.

I still haven't beat Sapphire, Emerald, Platinum or Heart Gold (I was taking my sweet time, and then school got real, and then I got into Touhou/Dwarf Fortress/new Golden Sun game/Black version), so never fear! I'll still be catching up right along with you. :D

See, that's the thing about Pokemon that makes it pretty special: no matter how much the game series has progressed or how many new pokemon there are, you will find people who still love and play at least one of the Gens regardless of when it came out.

Well, I have yet to get Heart Gold since I just got my DS this Christmas and only recently played Diamond.

I still get excited about gen 1.

Gen 4 is still my favorite generation, while playing black i still jump back to pearl for the fun of it, grinding, and farming shinys.

i still love pearl over most of the other games.
